Sales-Lentz has always been an early adopter of new technologies. We understand our role as a public transport operator to trigger our suppliers, bus manufacturers, software developers, etc. to deliver and develop technologies that meet the market needs. Being very close to the public authorities and private customers that require mobility solutions, Sales-Lentz sees itself as a development partner and entrepreneur ready to invest in sustainable mobility.

Sales-Lentz currently operates a total fleet of 620 buses and mini-buses, including 45 full electric urban buses, 64 hybrid and 15 plug-in hybrid buses.

Several projects with 4 NAVYA autonomous shuttles have been launched in September and October 2019 throughout Luxembourg.

Technical / technological capabilities

Our vehicle fleet is made up of 620 buses and mini-buses, including actually 45 full electric urban buses, 64 hybrid and 15 plug-in hybrid buses.

In order to reduce CO2 emissions SLA has invested 2.1 million Euros since 2016 in charging solutions for electric buses in the depots of Bascharage, Merl, Belval, Munsbach and Mersch for a total of 64 night chargers and 2 300 kW fast chargers with two types of inverted pantographs and hood contact. SLA has planned investments between 12 and 15 million Euros in 8 depots in order to meet the demand for electrification of the buses of the RGTR 2022 network.
